ABOUT STEVE

In his current role, Steve provides leadership in several key areas, including corporate strategic planning and execution, innovation, and research & development.

Steve began his career with Union Electric Company in 1987 – now known as Ameren Missouri, an Ameren subsidiary. In 2010, he was appointed Ameren’s first Vice President of Corporate Development, after serving three years as Vice President of Regulatory & Legislative Affairs for Ameren Missouri. Previous areas of responsibility include leadership of all Ameren Missouri matters before the Missouri Public Service Commission and Missouri Legislature, electric transmission & distribution, energy marketing, key account management, business development, integrated resource planning, market research, and load research & forecasting.

Steve holds Master of Science degrees in both Nuclear Engineering and Energy Analysis & Policy from the University of Wisconsin – Madison, an MBA from Washington University in St. Louis, and a bachelor’s degree in Physics from Rhodes College in Memphis, Tenn.

Steve currently serves as Chairman of the Research Advisory Committee of the Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI). Steve also serves on boards of the Salvation Army, Tower Grove Park, and the Water Tower Parks & Preservation Society.
