Fun Challenges

Question 1.

Using only the two digits 2 and 3 and without any mathematical symbols (accept pre- Fibonacci notation, but you still must use only 2, and 3), create different two-digit number values. If you can think of only 23, 32, 32 , 23 , then you need to join our MathDojo School.  There are 6 more different values. Use the following 3 x 3 numerical matrix as a guide.

3  3  3

3  2  3

3  3  3

Check out the Magic Squares article in Dojomaster's Wisdom for the answer!

Question 2.

What is the name of the conjecture created with the digits with only 1, 2, 2, 3, 3 and the math symbols - and = ?

It was 158 years later that this conjecture was proven correct and became an accepted theorem.

Question 3.

Find the missing number in the following sequence of numbers:

10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 20, 22, 24, ___, 100, 121, 10000
